The daily maintenance of Roots blower is the key to ensuring its stable operation and extending its service life. The following is a detailed explanation of the daily maintenance of Roots blower:
1、 Usage requirements
1. Media requirements:
The inlet temperature of the conveying medium shall not exceed 40 ℃.
The particulate matter content in the medium shall not exceed 100mg/m3, and the particle size shall not exceed half of the working gap.
2. Operating parameters:
The bearing temperature during operation shall not exceed 95 ℃, and the lubricating oil temperature shall not exceed 65 ℃.
The pressure used shall not exceed the pressure range specified on the nameplate.
The clearance between the fan impeller and the casing, as well as between impellers, has been adjusted before leaving the factory. When reassembling, this clearance must be ensured. Excessive clearance affects performance, while insufficient clearance may cause friction and collision due to thermal expansion.
2、 Daily inspection and maintenance
1. Cleaning and ventilation:
Regularly clean the fan room, maintain cleanliness, and ensure good ventilation.
Regularly clean the filter screen and cooler to prevent dust and oil blockage.
2. Lubrication system:
Regularly check the oil dripping condition of the drip nozzle. If the drip nozzle is dirty, remove the adjustment screw and clean it.
Lubricating oil should be added to rolling bearings once a week, and oil should be added to the shaft seal device every 124 hours.
Regularly check the quality and quantity of lubricating oil. If the engine oil is found to be below the middle position of the oil mark, it should be replenished in a timely manner. If the engine oil becomes visibly dirty or the oil mark is unclear, it should be replaced in a timely manner. It is recommended to replace the lubricating oil after running the fan for 8 hours on a new machine or after major repairs, and then change the engine oil every six months thereafter.
3. Transmission device:
Regularly check the wear level of fasteners, belts, or gears in the transmission device, and replace worn parts in a timely manner.
Belt driven fans should pay attention to the tension of the belt. The fresh air fan has been adjusted before leaving the factory, and should be tightened again after 24 hours of operation. From now on, it should be tightened regularly every week. The tightness of the belt must be appropriate to avoid overheating damage caused by over tightening or slipping damage caused by over loosening.
4. Temperature and pressure monitoring:
Regularly monitor the intake and exhaust pressure, bearing temperature, and motor current, promptly detect abnormalities, and take corresponding measures.
5. Other checks:
Regularly check the fastening condition of each part and whether there is any looseness in the positioning pin.
Check the oil level, temperature of the main and auxiliary oil and bearing parts, motor load, and packing sealing effect daily.
Regularly inspect the support of the fan duct, as well as the rotating shaft lip seal ring, impeller, and internal components of the casing.
3、 Precautions for operation
1. Power on preparation:
Avoid mixing dust and debris inside and outside the fan into the oil.
Check the leakage of the seal. When the leakage is severe, the seal should be replaced immediately to prevent accidents caused by dangerous gas leakage.
2. Shutdown operation:
When parking, it is necessary to first unload and reduce the load before stopping.
3. Operation monitoring:
During operation, special attention should be paid to whether there is friction or foreign matter suction between the impellers inside the casing, between the impellers and the wall panels, or between impellers. If there is any abnormality, the vehicle should be stopped immediately.
Regularly check the temperature, vibration, and operating sound of the bearings, and promptly address any abnormalities.
In summary, the daily maintenance of Roots blowers involves multiple aspects, including usage requirements, daily inspections and maintenance, and operational precautions. Only by strictly following maintenance requirements can the stable operation and extended service life of Roots blower be ensured.
