1、 The function of valves

Set pressure: Generally, the threshold value of the valve is set to be around 10 times the pressure increase. This needs to be determined based on the specific working conditions and requirements of the Roots blower.
Adjustment method: When adjusting the valve, it is necessary to observe the pressure gauge while tightening the gate valve, so that the pressure exceeds the set pressure by about 10. Then loosen the locking nut and rotate the adjusting screw counterclockwise until air is expelled from the valve. If the set pressure has not been reached during the process of tightening the gate valve and the valve has already discharged air, it is necessary to rotate the adjusting screw clockwise again until no more air is discharged, and then rotate counterclockwise until air is discharged again. Tighten the locking nut and adjusting screw, loosen the gate valve, reduce the pressure, and prevent the valve from venting.
