Detailed explanation of installation technology and precautions for Roots blower
The installation steps of Roots blower are relatively complex and require meticulous operation to ensure the normal operation of the equipment. The following are the detailed steps and precautions for installing Roots blower:
1、 Preparation before installation
1. Equipment inspection: Before installation, the Roots blower and its supporting equipment (such as motor, inlet muffler, outlet muffler, base, elastic joint, pressure gauge, etc.) should be checked for integrity to ensure that the model and specifications of all components meet the design requirements.
2. Preparation tools: Prepare the necessary tools for installation, such as bolts, wrenches, screwdrivers, steel rulers, linear equipment, etc.
2、 Select installation location
1. Position requirement: Select a flat and stable installation position based on the size and weight of the Roots blower to ensure that there is no vibration or displacement during operation.
2. Environmental requirements: The electrical equipment of the unit should be installed indoors, and the unit can be installed outdoors, but it should be ensured that it is not exposed to sunlight and rain. The design of the inner wall of the machine room should avoid reverberation, and the indoor environment should be kept dry and well ventilated. There should be a spacious area of no less than 2 meters around the unit for disassembly, inspection, and maintenance.
3、 Installation base and host
1. Placing the base: Place the base in the pre selected installation position, ensuring that the base is level and stable. If the ground is uneven, it needs to be leveled.
2. Fixed base: Use anchor bolts to fix the base to the ground, ensuring that the base will not move due to the operation of the fan. If the fan model is large, a suitable square pit can be excavated on the ground and anchor bolts can be embedded. Then, the fan can be connected by bolts and nuts, and the square pit can be filled with cement concrete. After the concrete is fixed, tighten the nuts firmly to connect the fan base and concrete together.
3. Place the host: Gently place the Roots blower host on the base, ensuring that the connection holes between the blower and the base are aligned.
4. Tightening bolts: Use matching bolts to securely connect the fan host to the base, ensuring that the tightening torque of the bolts meets the design requirements.
4、 Install the motor and transmission device
1. Placing the motor: Gently place the motor on the roller connected to the motor on the base, and use the matching bolts for initial connection. At this time, there is no need to tighten it.
2. Adjust the position of the motor: According to the design requirements, adjust the position of the motor to ensure that the motor spindle is parallel to the spindle of the Roots blower.
3. Tighten the motor: Use tools to tighten the connecting bolts between the motor and the roller, as well as between the roller and the base, to ensure the stability of the motor.
4. Install pulleys and belts: Select the fan pulley and motor pulley according to customer parameters, and use a steel ruler or straight-line device to calibrate the two pulleys so that they are on the same plane. Then install the matching belt on the fan pulley and motor pulley, adjust the internal and external adjustment bolts of the motor roller to tighten the belt. The state of the belt is that it can be twisted by about 90 degrees when held by hand. After the adjustment is completed, choose the appropriate tool to tighten the connecting bolts between the motor and the roller, and between the roller and the base.
5、 Install other accessories
1. Wheel guard: Select the appropriate tool to install the wheel guard on the fan and tighten the matching bolts.
2. Barometer: Install the barometer at the outlet of the fan, ensuring that the barometer is installed vertically and the head is facing upwards. Before installation, the rubber cap on the head of the watch should be cut or pierced to balance the air pressure inside and outside the watch case.
3. Silencers and elastic joints: Install inlet silencers, outlet silencers, and elastic joints at the inlet and outlet of the fan according to design requirements. Pay attention to checking for foreign objects inside the muffler and ensure that the connection is well sealed.
6、 Debugging and trial operation
1. Debugging equipment: After connecting the power supply, perform equipment debugging work. This includes checking the tightening of each connection position, whether the pipeline support is tight, and whether the oil level is in the appropriate position. At the same time, turn on the pressure gauge switch to determine if the zero position pressure pointer is accurate.
2. Trial operation: After the preparation work is ready, conduct a trial operation of the Roots blower. The trial operation is divided into three stages: no-load idle operation, loaded operation, and normal operation.
3. No load idle operation: It is advisable to run for more than one hour, and during the operation, listen carefully for any friction, collision, or other noise from the rotor.
4. Load operation: The Roots blower should slowly increase the pressure, and the increased pressure must not exceed the pressure indicated on the blower nameplate. During the boosting process, the noise of the Roots blower will increase, and protective measures should be taken.
5. Normal operation: After running with load for more than 4 hours, the Roots blower enters normal operation. At this time, slowly increase the pressure beyond the nameplate mark by about 5, adjust the valve, and when the valve leaks, release the pressure to the normal working pressure (the valve should not leak after pressure release).
6. Check vibration: Use a vibration measuring instrument to check whether the vibration of the fan meets the design requirements.
7. Record data: Record the operating data of the fan, such as speed, flow rate, pressure, etc., for future reference.
7、 Installation precautions
1. Fans should not be installed in places where people frequently enter and exit to prevent injury. Fans should not be installed in places that are prone to producing flammable, explosive, and corrosive gases to prevent accidents such as fire and poisoning.
2. Before installing the Roots blower, protective equipment should be installed on all parts, anti rust oil should be applied to exposed processing areas, and parts should be checked for damage and foreign objects inside the machine. Blow out the inside of the machine with compressed air.
3. When installing the fan, it is necessary to check whether the foundation is firm, whether the surface is flat, and whether the foundation is higher than the ground.
4. Before connecting the pipeline to the inlet and outlet of the blower, it should be checked whether the pipeline is clean and free of foreign objects. The weight of all pipelines, valves, and mufflers should not be added to the blower.
5. According to environmental conditions, the air inlet of the fan can be selected and equipped with a filter by the user, but attention should be paid to the selection of the ventilation surface to avoid increasing resistance. To reduce noise, a muffler should be equipped.
6. The fan with an electric oil pump should have an interlocking starting device with the active machine for the electric oil pump.
7. The fan can be used for a long time in an environment temperature not exceeding 40 ℃. When it exceeds 40 ℃, cooling measures such as exhaust fans should be installed to improve the service life of the fan.
8. When transporting media such as air, biogas, natural gas, etc., their dust content should generally not exceed 100mg/m3.
9. The foundation should have sufficient weight (not less than three times the weight of the equipment, except for those with vibration dampers), area, and bearing capacity. The foundation should be firm, the surface should be flat, and it should be 10-25cm above the ground.
10. During installation, ensure that the unit is level, the number and distribution of shims meet the requirements, and the shims are connected to the foundation
